The age-old art of glass blowing
Project sponsor Perrier-Jouët goes behind the scenes to show the creation of Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert’s ‘Human Nature’ installation at one of the last factories that still produce mouth-blown glass.
The film offers a glimpse at the German craftsmen using age-old techniques to manufacture the 150 coloured cylinders of glass that make up the glass blower and artist-de-jour’s installation.
Creating waves for Zaha Hadid’s Crest
The production of Zaha Hadid’s Crest installation at the V&A is shown in time lapse film, as a flat sheet of aluminium is pulled into shape onsite using an inflatable jack.

Terence Conran on the Wish List
Benchmark co-founder Terence Conran persuaded the luminaries of the design and architecture world, including Zaha Hadid, Richard Rogers and Norman Foster, to mentor ten emerging designers.
Each one was paired with an up-and-coming designer, who was tasked with creating a wooden item of their choice. These were produced over the course of a week at Benchmark’s workshop, while the young designers camped at the end of Conran’s garden.

Barber and Osgerby on the process of creating Double Space
The creation of Barber and Osgerby’s monumental kinetic sculpture is revealed from its conception to installation. Double Space comprises two rotating fins that span the entire ceiling of the V&A’s Raphael gallery, reflecting and distorting the artworks.
