The Expona EnCore Rigid Loc collection has an expertly engineered premium rigid SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) construction for stability and a 1mm IXPE acoustic foam layer that reduces impact sound by 19dB, exceeding UK regulations and providing comfort underfoot.
The 5Gi click-locking technology and a loose lay format is designed to make installation quicker and more cost effective, and the 0.55mm heavy commercial wear layer helps ensure longevity.
All 12 decorative designs replicate the appearance of timber, with a wide spectrum of wood species featuring fine grain and knot detailing and micro bevelled edges for the timeless appearance typical of real wooden floor coverings. Unlike wood, however, the polyurethane reinforcement is waterproof and creates a scratch and stain resistant finish designed for modern offices, coworking spaces with pets and heavy commercial interiors with high foot traffic.
Environmentally, Expona EnCore has achieved a generic BRE A+ rating in major use areas and Indoor Air Comfort Gold, assuring that VOC emissions are below any globally determined levels. It is also 100% recyclable via the Recofloor recycling scheme and contains an average of 15% recycled content.
