This September, visitors to the Shoreditch Design Triangle during London Design Festival will be treated to a tactile, thoughtful and distinctly British showcase from Task, a well known name in workplace furniture and bespoke product design. At the centre of their display is a newly unveiled bespoke veneer workwall, designed and built entirely in-house by Task’s own design studio
Balancing beauty with utility, this piece is more than just a backdrop, it’s a refined, fully considered feature that speaks to the heart of what Task does best: creating highly tailored environments for contemporary workplaces. Made in the UK at a local factory in Essex, the workwall is a testament to craftsmanship, material understanding and clever spatial thinking.
The Task in-house studio has long specialised in bespoke joinery and one-of-a-kind product solutions, working closely with clients to transform briefs into built realities.
Whether it’s a height-adjustable workstation with fully bespoke cable management or a five-metre-long veneered boardroom table paired with elegant Italian seating, Task’s approach consistently balances purpose with personality.
Their designs are as much about performance as they are about presence, supporting agile, future-facing office environments with products that are built to last.
This showcase is part of Task’s broader celebration of bespoke design, which also includes two exclusive Italian partners: Marelli and ICF, both of whom will have selected pieces on display at the showroom. From statement executive seating to collaborative zones, the curated range reflects the growing demand for design that is both aesthetically elevated and technically robust.
The full installation will be on show throughout London Design Festival at Task’s Shoreditch showroom, located at 85 Great Eastern Street. Visitors are warmly invited to explore the space and discover how locally crafted joinery, European design excellence, and workplace innovation come together under one roof.
