Welcome to our Spring 2026 issue.
The 174th issue of OnOffice considers the enduring power of human creativity in an era increasingly shaped by AI. While technology may be faster and more precise, people continue to excel at indirect, non-linear problem-solving and understanding the motivations that shape how we live and work. Art features as one form of welcome disruption, with designer Giles Miller reflecting on how artworks create “moments of visual pause” within shared spaces – a principle seen in ater.architects’ design for creative agency Banda’s Kyiv headquarters. Elsewhere, architecture practice Xuong Xep establishes its Ho Chi Minh City headquarters in a converted apartment inspired by the city’s domestic heritage and street coffee culture. Collaboration also takes centre stage, from Bert & May’s canal-side East London showroom The Mix, which brings together a group of like-minded brands in a shared interiors hub, to the partnership between furniture company Another Country and bespoke maker Goldfinger, whose ‘treecycled’ timber and training academy support a new generation of craftspeople. The issue also marks the centenary of designer Verner Panton, whose experimental spirit still resonates today.
