This year, Shaw Contract celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Shaw Contract Design Awards. For two decades, the Shaw Contract Design Awards have recognised design that does more – projects that spark creativity, connect communities, and contribute to a better, more sustainable future. And so far, the programme has recognised thousands of such projects across the world, celebrating not only the final design but the intention behind each detail and the ideas that drive industry innovation.

Over these years, the awards have evolved from a recognition platform into a global movement, one that reflects how design can be a force for connection, sustainability, and social progress. The programme’s purpose remains clear: to celebrate design that goes beyond aesthetics. To celebrate design that shapes how people experience the world.

From over 600 entries across the regions, seven EMEA winners were selected this year for their creativity, relevance, and contribution to meaningful design. Four projects were recognised in the UK & Continental Europe category, and three in the Middle East & Africa, representing a powerful cross-section of design excellence and innovation.

The regional winner journey does not end there. All regional winners now progress to the next stage, where an international jury will select the Best of Globe winners. The global winners will be announced on 6th November 2025, marking the culmination of this special 20th anniversary year.
