A rich, jewel-toned green designed to bring depth and balance to contemporary interiors, showcased within Bisley’s redesigned Clerkenwell showroom
British furniture company, Bisley, will introduce Emerald, a new colour for 2026, at this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week. A rich, jewel-toned green, Emerald has been developed to bring depth and balance to contemporary interiors, offering a refined yet versatile approach to colour across workplace environments.

Presented within Bisley’s redesigned Clerkenwell showroom, Emerald will form part of the brand’s wider CDW showcase, The Layers of Design: Where Colour, Material and Smart Technology Meet. The installation explores how colour can be used more thoughtfully within interior schemes, layered alongside materiality and integrated technology to create spaces that feel both functional and considered.

Vivid yet balanced, Emerald introduces a sophisticated sense of colour while remaining easy to integrate. Its richness allows it to stand confidently within a space, whether applied through colour drenching or introduced more subtly through furniture and key pieces. The tone pairs effortlessly with soft, calming neutrals such as Natural Canvas and Regent, while also complementing brighter accents including Seville and Ocean Blue, enabling a wide range of design expressions.

The introduction of Emerald reflects a broader shift towards more intentional, experience-led workplace design. Often associated with the natural world, green is widely linked to growth, restoration and well–being. Emerald captures these qualities through a calm yet confident presence, supporting environments that feel both energising and grounded.

Now available across a wide selection of Bisley ranges, Emerald can be specified across both classic and contemporary product lines, from MultiDrawer and traditional filing systems to more recent designs including Outline and Deco. It offers a cohesive way to introduce depth and character across a workplace scheme, from individual touchpoints to larger open-plan environments.

Alongside the launch, Bisley will also introduce the BeSmart® Innovation Hub within its Clerkenwell showroom. This dedicated space brings together intelligent storage solutions, supporting businesses in adopting secure, flexible and future-ready systems tailored to their needs.

Together, these elements form a considered presentation of how colour, material and smart technology can work in harmony within the workplace. Visitors to Clerkenwell Design Week are invited to experience Emerald first-hand within the showroom, and explore its application across a range of settings.
