This September, Shoreditch Design Week returns to place one of London’s most creatively charged neighbourhoods firmly at the centre of the capital’s design conversation
Running from 15-20 September, the festival will bring together more than 60 showrooms, galleries, studios and cultural spaces, creating a district-wide showcase of the people, ideas and products shaping the future of design.
Formerly known as the Shoreditch Design Triangle, the event enters a new chapter in 2026, expanding its programme to reflect the breadth and energy of contemporary design. Across six days, the district will become a backdrop for product launches, exhibitions, installations, talks, tours and workshops, with the first three days anchored by four major exhibitions exploring some of the industry’s most pressing conversations.
Making its Shoreditch debut is Material Matters, the UK’s leading exhibition dedicated to material innovation. Taking over UNLOCKED on Curtain Road, the exhibition will bring together pioneering brands, manufacturers and designers to consider how material choices can contribute to a more sustainable built environment.

House of ICON will showcase a broad spectrum of contemporary interiors across residential, hospitality and workplace design. Its 2026 edition spans everything from Scandinavian simplicity to more expressive maximalism, bringing together a diverse collection of perspectives on how we shape the spaces around us. Alongside it, internationally recognised platform Isola returns to champion independent designers and emerging studios working at the intersection of innovation, experimentation and sustainability.
At Protein Studios, Design at Work curated by OnOffice, will explore the relationship between design and the workplace, considering how the spaces we work in continue to evolve. New for 2026, Neuroplaces will also join the programme, bringing together an exhibition and conference dedicated to neuroinclusive and accessible design and placing wellbeing, inclusion and accessibility at the heart of the workplace conversation.
ND Selects, curated by New Designers, puts emerging talent in the spotlight, bringing together a selection of products from some of the most promising new design businesses. Alongside it, Design Burger: The Product Design 100 celebrates a decade of influential industrial design, showcasing 100 projects that reflect the ideas, creativity and innovation that have shaped the discipline in recent years.

Beyond the exhibition venues, the wider district offers plenty more to discover. Showrooms, galleries and studios across the district will open their doors for a programme of launches, installations, talks, tours and workshops, creating opportunities to encounter design in the places where it is made, specified and experienced. Among the highlights is the Wax Building, alongside a growing line-up of names including Jasper Morrison, Bethan Laura Wood, Christopher Farr, Floor Story, Holte Studio and Raw-Edges.
Bringing together established names, emerging talent, new collections and thought-provoking exhibitions, Shoreditch Design Week offers a chance to discover the people, products and ideas shaping design today. Taking place as part of London Design Festival, the festival invites visitors to explore Shoreditch at their own pace, from new launches and installations to the studios, showrooms and creative spaces that make the district such a distinctive part of London’s design scene.
