In a new pilot program with the NYC Parks Department and Brooklyn-based wood supplier Tri-Lox, the New York based lighting supplier has released a new collection which uses salvaged timber from across the city due to urban development displacing them. Designed for both residential and commercial spaces, the pendants are available in a variety of lengths and showcases an innovative way of saving a resource that would otherwise be landfilled, incinerated, or mulched. stickbulb.com

A sculptural design in the shape of a bridge, this table lamp shines a uniform light from the underside of its horizontal beam making it a practical writing lamp for home workstations. Laser cut from a single sheet of steel, this inspired design requires no physical touch to be turned off or on – just a simple wave of the hand is enough.
