Welcome to our Summer 2026 issue.
The 175th issue of OnOffice explores the evolving nature of the workplace, where offices are increasingly designed to support collaboration, creativity and social interaction alongside focused work. Flexibility emerges as a defining theme, with Omar Aqeel of Methods of Assembly describing interiors as “living fields” that shift and adapt with their users – an approach echoed in new mobile and modular workplace systems from Vitra. Elsewhere, co-working spaces continue to expand beyond the traditional office model, with Zürich-based Headsquarter introducing amenities including recording studios, yoga spaces and entertainment zones at its latest facility, The Artistic. British maker Origin Furniture also broadens its offering with a move into adaptable office furniture, while design duo Pearson Lloyd reflect on how mobility and changing work habits are reshaping the spaces we inhabit. The issue coincides with Clerkenwell Design Week (19–21 May), which brings together Britain’s leading designers for installations, launches and events across EC1.
