Meeting sustainability concerns, this new collection has been created in accordance with Forbo’s green design principles, incorporating regenerated Aquafil Econyl polyamide yarn and manufactured using 100% renewable electricity.
The Urban Retreat range from Interface has been used to bring the beauty of nature to the offices of EOS Interiors in Birmingham. The environmentally responsible interior design specialist sought flooring that would reflect its company values of creativity, inspiration and sustainability, and showcase its design expertise. The Urban Retreat One range was specified in granite and lichen in a transitional pattern for added contrast. Earthy colours reflective of natural stone were arranged in a random design, reflecting the unpredictability of nature.

An aesthetically innovative take on the traditional drop ceiling, these panels are great as either accenting pieces to a traditional suspended ceiling or as a complete design. By revolving the panel around its axis, rhythmical patterns of straight lines, circles or spirals can be created, setting the creative tone of the room. The panels can be equipped with traditional installations such as LED lighting, surveillance cameras, smoke detectors and sprinklers and the recyclable plastic modules ensure a minimum weight as well as easy handling and transportation.

The underlying concept of Miguel Mestre’s My Desk is creative freedom. This is freedom from the small, squared-off boundaries of taking notes or scribbling concepts in a notebook or loseable, unorganised Post-its. My Desk provides a stack of 100x70cm blank paper to serve as a literal base for work, helping a creative mind flow more freely, and features plywood sides to lock in the pages. The regimented B1 paper size gives the ability to refill the stack and even change paper quality.
