sixteen3 has introduced a new online configurator for its full product range, making specification and customisation easier than ever
PROMOTIONAL FEATURE
With the global situation making face-to-face presentations and showroom visits more difficult, designers are turning to the web to gain information about availability of products and finishes. Although nothing can truly match seeing, feeling and often sitting on furniture, the ability to explore a detailed 360-degree view of a product enhances the users understanding, even if they are confined to their homes.
sixteen3’s new platform empowers designers and specifiers to customise the look of their chosen products thanks to a catalogue of hundreds of fabric and leather upholstery finishes supplied by leading manufacturers from across the globe, with more being added all the time. Leg or base materials can also be chosen from an extensive range and button detailing can be toggled on or off whenever available. Even zip colours can be specified, either to blend in with upholstery themes or to provide a contrasting pop of colour.
Modular seating ranges and the award winning ‘Calvert’ space division system have additional capabilities within the configurator system. Individual parts can be combined and arranged to meet users’ specific requirements, with dynamic menus showing which parts can be used at any time, taking out the chances of specification errors.
Once layouts and finishes are decided on, a complete bill of parts is generated, allowing for a simplified ordering process with no quantity or finish errors. High-quality visuals from any chosen viewpoint can also be downloaded in up to 4K resolution, perfect for presentations or moodboards. Furthermore, highly detailed 3D CAD files of the customised scene can also be issued as well as a unique URL which is generated each time the configurator is loaded.
This powerful tool is freely accessible through the individual product pages of the sixteen3 website, with no access login, specialist software or training needed…why not have a go yourself!
