Swedish company Abstracta is launching Airflake XL, a decorative acoustic screen by Stefan Borselius, at Clerkenwell Design Week, which runs from 19-21 May.
A development of its popular hexagonal Airflake design, the Airflake XL’s moulded-fibre-felt panels measure 600 by 700mm and are assembled on ceiling rails. The larger panels help to create a bold, geometric aesthetic.
The acoustic specialist claims that its acoustic panels can reduce sound between two desks from 35db to between 10 and 15db. Operating since 1972, Abstracta’s designs are still manufactured in Sweden and 50% of its product is sold internationally.
Abstracta will be located at the Design Factory, stand DF1F, at the Farmiloe Building, and welcomes visitors to its stand to further discuss its products.
