Boston-based company IdeaPaint has appointed former BuzziSpace director Robin Bayliss to head up its new London office. It will be the brand’s first outpost outside Boston since launching its dry-erase paint business in 2008, highlighting the growing market for writable walls in UK workplaces. Bayliss will join as director of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
“IdeaPaint has already made its mark in some of the most innovative companies in the UK: Visa, TUI, Tesco, and Google,” Bayliss says. “[It] is a proven way for companies to work smarter and be more collaborative – something that every company needs.”
Prior to his position at furniture and acoustics brand BuzziSpace, Bayliss worked at Senator and Steelcase, so has built up a wealth of experience in the workplace design sector.
IdeaPaint president John Stephans said: “Enhancing our presence in London is important to us, given it’s standing as a global capital for business, innovation and design. Robin has a proven track record of success with end user, distributor and A&D communities and is the perfect person to lead our growing international team.”
