Applied Studios’ new look Burger King HQ shows great taste

Applied Studio, the London-based architecture and interiors practice, has designed a new home in the capital for Burger King, using the chain's restaurant design guidelines as a source of inspiration.

Bespoke divider screens and panelling, echoing those used in Burger King branches up and down the country, have been used in an office setting to relatively subtle effect, opening up space and providing a rather modish Scandi backdrop.

With touches of marble, brass and steel, there’s a real contemporary impression to the new workspace. Although it includes informal meeting and boardrooms, the whole has an open, light feel.

Steelcase desks and desk chairs blend in with furniture straight from Burger King restaurants. The lighting too is all taken from restaurant designs, though given a little extra Applied Studio touch.

Very nice indeed. Does make you feel a bit peckish, though…
