London’s Olympia is the brand-new home for 100% Design this year but expect the usual mix of product launches from both established brands and emerging talent (see overleaf).
Taking over the two levels in the Grand and West halls, the event features five sections, including a dedicated Workplace area that includes exhibitors such as Vitra (stand W330), Buzzispace (stand W344) and Isomi (stand W455).
At the heart of proceedings is the Central Bar, designed by Studio Design UK, a long-time collaborator with the event. Working in tandem with material sponsors Perspex Acrylic Brand, its designers have created a colourful pavilion that will act as a beautiful physical representation of this year’s overall theme, Design in Colour.
It also provides aesthetic interplay with Olympia’s original architecture, including its Victorian barrel-vaulted glass roof.
