Architecture 00, Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands and vPR took the top awards at the RIBA London ceremony last night.

The Foundry in Vauxhall by Architecture 00 was named London Building of the Year. A south London hub for social justice organisations, it represents the next generation of co-working – where sector-specific bodies share knowledge and resources.

Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands took the awards for both London Architect of the Year and Client of the Year for the Foyles Bookshop on Charing Cross Road. Judges declared it a "triumphant ressurection of a stuffy and declining bookstore".

Haworth Tompkins, which took the 2014 Stirling Prize for its Everyman Theatre in Liverpool, showed once again where its skill lie work on the National Theatre and Donmar Dryden Street both won awards, while its Chichester Theatre took a RIBA Regional Award last month.

Bethnal Green-based vPPR was named Emerging Practice of the Year for its Vaulted House project in Hammersmith. AHMM picked up the most awards, winning a hat trick for 10 New Burlington Street, Burntwood School and Wiliam Street Quarter in Barking. Schutz Davidson Sandilands, Piercy & Co, John McAslan & Partners and Stanton Williams each won two awards.
