Humanscale at Orgatec 2014

Words by

Over at Humanscale, it’s all about the active workplace. In the same vein as Brunner’s Dress stool, its new Ballo stool (pictured) designed by Don Chadwick, is a playful yet wholly flexible form, designed for short-term perching and to be moved around for impromptu meetings.

It has also come up with Quickstand, an accessory that can be attached to the back of any fixed-height desktop, turning it into a height-adjustable desk; it means that the concept of sit-stand working can be retrofitted into existing workplaces.

There will also
be the opportunity for a sneak peek of Humanscale’s product ranges for 2015. These include new versions of the Trea chair by Todd Bracher and the Diffrient Smart Chair, which features Humanscale’s signature weight-sensitive recline and form-sensing mesh technology, so users can freely move from posture to posture.
