In honour of this pioneering design, Trinetic recently scooped the ‘Red Dot – Best of the Best’ Product Design Award 2017 – an accolade whose previous winners include Apple, Dyson and Ferrari. Boss Design conducted two years of intensive market research in which the concepts of how office chairs should move and what they should offer users were completely deconstructed. The outcome was to completely overturnthe market’s fixation with developing task chairs of greater complexity and with increased functionality and ranges of adjustability.
Trinetic provides revolutionary dynamic support through fluid movement, and does not require any user adjustment, multiple components, complex assembly or even training. Trinetic meets today’s flexible working patterns, and its sophisticated and refined aesthetic means it is equally at home in touchdown working, meeting and conference spaces. From a collaborative work chair to an eight-hour task chair, Trinetic responds to the needs of the individual user at any given time.
Trinetic uses three independent pivot points that combine to create a chair that ‘follows’ rather than resists the user. This promotes better support through a wide range of body movements and as well as providing greater comfort and support, it encourages a more dynamic user experience.
