Following demand for a taller version of his Bosa table, James Burleigh has introduced a ‘stand-up’ counterpart to the original design.
The laminate top is supported by a wooden frame that is needed to meet the rigours of the contract environment. After experimenting with various brace positions, the team came up with a structure that resembles a roof structure.
The table can be extended to any length and the company has already received orders from a global credit card company and a major British broadcaster for 6m versions.
With its solid timber edge and compact laminate top, it would function well in a creative brainstorming area or where informal meetings can take place.
To accompany the table, Burleigh has rolled out ‘perch high’ Magnes stools. Featuring solid hardwood legs and powdered steel footrest, the seat is available in over 100 laminate colours.
