Charlotte Perriand first designed the Rio table in 1962 for a private house in its namesake’s city, later adapting it for the Japanese Embassy in Paris.
Cassina’s re-edition comes in three finishes: natural oak with a Carrara white marble top, black-stained oak with Marquiña black marble top, or natural oak with Viennese cane.
The low table’s top is divided into six wedges of alternating sizes, with a hole at the centre.
