Petite Friture will take over the Palatino restaurant at co-working space Fora during Clerkenwell Design Week. The French design editor will be creating an imaginative atmosphere in the space featuring Petite Friture’s lighting and furniture pieces.
Fora’s Central Street facade will be transformed with French illustrator Lisa Laubreaux’s playful graphics that depict precious, jovial scenes of ‘holiday moments’, and the designer’s Memphis-inspired ‘Jetlag’ pattern which was first presented as wallpaper at January’s Maison et Objet.

Inside, visitors to the restaurant will find a display of French designer Constance Guisset’s ‘Vertigo’ pendant lights, one of Petite Friture’s most recognisable designs. The lobby space will be transformed with clusters of the brand’s ‘Chains’ lighting garlands designed by Sylvain Willenz, Guisset’s cloud-like ‘Nubilo’ sofas, and an array of smaller design objects.

On Wednesday 23rd May, Fora will host ‘An Evening with Petite Friture’, welcoming Founder and Creative Director, Amélie du Passage, and the designer of its ‘Chains’ lighting range, Sylvain Willenz, to ‘The Forum’ – Fora’s auditorium. The pair will discuss nurturing talent in a talk chaired by Design Writer and Curator, Katie Treggiden.
