As London gears up for another whirl of events and flurry of celebrations at London Design Festival (14-22 September), the capital is bursting with creative inspiration for another year.
With magnificent installations, exquisite designs and thought-provoking talks, LDF continues to expand its programme with new districts at King’s Cross and Chelsea, while 2019 will also mark the 25th anniversary of 100% Design.
Our LDF Issue commemorates the fresh talent and ground-breaking designs on show by taking you on a tour of the festival’s most exciting happenings. In our cover story, we sit down with up-and-coming designer Daniel Schofield who will unveil his latest work with the likes of Hayche and Ercol during the festival.
We’ve also got a sneak preview of the city-wide event, featuring the not-to-be-missed sights where design lovers can source inspiration for commercial and residential projects alike.
Elsewhere, we put a workplace spin on Olafur Eliasson’s latest London exhibition, In Real Life, at Tate Modern and also look at the city’s best new urban getaway, which promises to tick all the boxes for LDF’s discerning design crowd.
Finally, we catch up with 2018 Design Fresh winner Atticus Durnell who takes us behind the scenes at his studio.
Bringing together the brightest creators and curators, LDF is the gateway to the world’s best design and a must-visit destination for all creative souls this autumn. What will you create? #LondonCalling
