Designed by London-based architects and engineers Foggo Associates, 70 St Mary Axe is the latest in a line-up of skyscrapers to emerge on London's skyline.

The acquisition of the rare rectangular site at the heart of London inspired designer Foggo Associates and developer Nuveen Real Estate to rebel with their curved creation.

The architecturally striking structure incorporates curved glass and anodised aluminium.

Affectionately dubbed London’s ‘can of ham’, the 24-storey office building was developed by Nuveen to stand as a new icon for the capital.
