FIRA International has updated its Gold Certification Scheme, which is aimed at evaluating all types of furniture and components, and the FIRA Gold Installation Certification for companies that install products into businesses and homes. FIRA Gold Certificate tests workmanship, ergonomics, strength and stability, finish performance and effects of atmosphere on a product to determine whether it meets British, European and international standards.
