Design in Transit from James Maiki
Airbnb is working with 19 students from Milan’s Fabrica design institution to create a series of interactive installations in the opulent Palazzo Crespi.
The designers will be stationed around the Baroque-style private home – open to the public for the first time – inviting visitors to take part in their experiential designs. From British tea-time to the Indian ritual of lighting lamps, the installations will follow a theme of ‘housewarming’.
