The Muraspec design and production teams continue their winning run with the latest mid-season designs for the contract interiors market. Fabric inspired Grecian has mass appeal, with careful colouring and a hint of lustre, while Nagoya will work with just about any accessory within a scheme. Metropolitan and Glacier have received a makeover with a selection of new soft neutrals, while the pictured Andecite, with its organic, neutral tones, brings depth to the design and entices the viewer to reach out and touch its volcanic rock texture.
Muraspec wallcoverings now come with a BRE Ecopoints score, determined by BRE Global. With a score of just 0.2 points per m², relative to the average European individual’s environmental impact of 100 Ecopoints per year, the wallcoverings are now available with an Environmental Product Declaration. This means Muraspec clients can earn further credits towards environmentally responsible fit-out schemes. The cradle-to-grave life cycle analysis examines 13 categories including carbon footprint, use of natural resources and waste disposal.
New for spring, Foley is Muraspec’s latest wallcovering design selection, taking inspiration from forest plant life. An organic texture hides within the foliage, whilst fine linear contours lead the eye into a depth of greenery. Many other colour options are available, ranging from neutrals to metallics that add a contemporary feel. Muraspec’s product range also includes Lumicor resin panels, Impressions Sculpted panels, Strataflex laminates and their award-winning IdeaPaint product.
Muraspec’s new product concept WOW (Web Only Wallcoverings) is a way to bring new designs to market faster and more frequently, allowing the company to respond to the latest market trends. Fabrice Knoll of Didier and Fabrice Knoll Architects and Designers created a wallcovering design called Shadow, pictured. All the designs can be viewed in the WOW section of the Muraspec website, featuring room sets in every colourway, with free A4 samples available.
