Designed by Alex de Witte for lighting brand Dark, the Big Bubble light is unique as every piece is a mouth-blown glass bubble. The light reflects child-like imagination and beauty, inspired by catching breath in a transparent fragile form when blowing soap bubbles. Big Bubble is available in smoke, smoke-green and amber or in a transparent finish, measures 900x375mm and won the 2013 Design District Award for best product.

Ouroboros is a steel fire pit designed by desnahemisfera and produced by Ringvid, using a manufacturing process that ensures each product presents a completely unique form. Each Scaffold Board table designed by John Osborn is individual. Built from reclaimed scaffold boards that still retain their own collection of scars, cracks, nail heads and other imperfections that give them their unique character, the tabletop appears to float on almost invisible clear acrylic panels, supported by tension cables that contrast with the raw timber surface and add an architectural flavor to the design. Scaffold Board tables come in a variety of standard sizes but can also be made to almost any length, width or height, all with easily demountable legs to allow the tables to be moved or stored.
The new Cresent reception counters from Eborcraft feature a unique asymmetric shape. The unusual reception counter configurations are built up from modular units, with a single desk having a counter top which tapers from 800mm to 240mm. This asymmetric shape gives the desk a small footprint, enabling it to fit into corners and tight spaces, while the recessed base with overhanging counter top makes it ideal for wheelchair use. Eborcraft’s Cresent furniture combines wood veneer finishes with a desk frontage available in a wide choice of coloured laminates.

The architect-designed FreeSCALE collection of cutting-edge carpet tiles by Vorwerk Carpets is continuing to inspire users to create unusual interiors in a wide range of commercial environments. Consisting of three tiles, Crystal, Mesh and Partition, each offering a different geometric form, the FreeSCALE collection rejects the assumption that carpet tiles have to be square. Instead, these interlocking tiles allow users to create unique patterns that open up new opportunities for creativity and reflect contemporary design. The carpet tiles have a tufted TEXtiles construction and contain no bitumen or PVC, and are available in three contrasting textures.
