The Performascreen is a shelf system that is both functional and versatile. The system can be reconfigured to create different shapes, whether curved or straight and can be filled from both sides, which makes it ideal as partitioning. The Soheimi Chair is a design concept developed by Karim Mekhtigian. The chair is inspired by the patterned wood of Mashrabeya screens, which can be found in houses in Egypt and is designed to allow light to pass through and create a play of shadows. Paper cutting is a unique art form used for centuries by the Chinese, and the same method was used to create Cloud Lamps. Yu Jordy Fu has developed this ancient technique to create expressive and elaborate forms. Cloud lamps are handmade from recycled paper and are to be used with energy saving light bulbs.
