Origami screen - MIEMATSUBARA

Origami screen - MIEMATSUBARA Japan based designer and architect Mie Matsubara created the Origami screen using bonded cardboard. The inspiration for the Origami screen comes from the traditional Japanese movements in origami such as folding and unfolding. The screen works well when set up in front of a window so it functions as a blind; the change from 2D to 3D varies the amount of light let through the slit, as well as framing the landscape beyond it. www.miematsubara.tumblr.com
