First presented at Salone Satellite 2011, the Anti-Stress low chair by Bashko Trybek was inspired by the CMYK colours used in raster printing. With 5240 possible pattern combinations, the chair uses five coloured stress balls held in a metal wire frame. Bashko’s aim was to achieve the popularly emphasised freedom of choosing your own components. By creating personal compositions, patterns and choosing the colours, the user therefore co-creates the product and engages in the creative process.
