Through the interpretative project skills of Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, combined with the innovation of Laufen, Kartell by Laufen is the first complete collection to include washbasins made from SaphirKeramik, a new lightweight material that is completely unique to Laufen. SaphirKeramik brings innovation in terms of the physical properties that can be created with ceramic, opening up a whole new level of creativity for the bathroom designer.

British designer and manufacturer of original contract furniture Morgan exhibited for the first time at designjunction as part of the London Design Festival. Morgan presented three signature collections from its in-house Morgan Studio, led by Design director Katerina Zachariades. Whilst working closely with CBRE Project Management team, The Interiors Group recently fitted out London offices for FIXI PLC. The client’s intention was to create a contemporary, bright and accommodating space with a quality finish. A mixture of full height glass and solid partitions were installed, including a strategically placed glass feature wall in the reception area concealing the coffee point and photocopier, while the reception desk was positioned in front of the striking feature wall.
Subcontractors working on accommodation for students at Exeter University were able to install soundproof flooring eight weeks ahead of schedule, cut labour costs and avoid any risk of delays to other trades by using the Brio system of easily installed dry floor screed boards developed by Knauf Drywall. Knauf Brio dry floor screed met the developer’s quality standard and ensured compliance with Building Regulations Part E.
