The 14 Series light by Omer Arbel, the creative director for Bocci, won a Red Dot award for product design in 2007. Made of hand-poured, cast glass, the pendants are made up of two glass semi-spheres with a halogen bulb embedded within the lower half. They give the impression of candles suspended in floating orbs of water. Light interacts with the imperfections, rifts and bubbles in the cast glass, to make a visually rich halo of light. Cameron Peters can also source this light as a single pendant, or in smaller multiples of up to 25, whose manufacture has been outsourced to Italy.
