The new release from door manufacturer Dorma, is the TS 99 EN 2-5 free swing door closer. Unlike conventional door closers, this allows resistance-free door opening in fire protection applications. Once opened, the door will stay in position until it is moved again. However, should the fire alarm be raised, the TS 99 EN 2-5 will automatically act as a fire door closer. The closer could be particularly useful for people with mobility problems and is ideal for schools, hospitals or nursing homes.
