Arq light-BEPLUSHAVE

newBeplushave1The Arq light was designed by Ilia Potemine for Beplushave and was inspired by the use of two different materials that have no connection to each other. The base is made of a single piece of wood that weighs about 20 kilos and is full of cracks and imperfections in order to make each light different. The suspension is made of spray-painted PVC pipes and the base can be moved to give a directional light for reading or writing.www.beplushave.com

Sillas-Mesas Puzzle-HUNE

“Altruismo Recíproco” (mutual altruism) was Ricardo Almendros López’s concept when creating the Sillas-Mesas Puzzle. The chair and table set have elements that depend on each other and work together to remain stable. Each chair and table have only two legs and they depend on being fitted together like a jigsaw puzzle in order to stay upright. Cristian and José from IES Atenea assisted López by playing an important role in creating the prototype for Sillas-Mesas Puzzle.
