Clamp Lamp explores the concept of honesty in design, where the main objective is to maximise the functionality of a solid unfinished material rather than adding unwanted components. For minimal environmental impact, the lamp is manufactured with very little process and is easily de-constructed back to its natural material. The entire system, including the energy-efficient LED strip, is compression fit with no glue or screws holding the lamp together.
