Ultra Board, manufactured by Dufaylite Group features a recycled paper honeycomb core, sandwiched between 450gsm white facing and has become attractive in the design field for its combination of lightweight robustness, versatility and 100 percent recyclability. Designer Julian Mayor has adopted Ultra Board to make the Angle chair – pictured. Created from a map of a person’s seat, digitalised and sectioned on a computer, then made into a graphic 3D model, each piece is individual and measures 620mm wide, 510mm deep and 700mm high.
